Graham's Point Project

This community arts project was commissioned by Benmore & Kilmun Community Development Trust and involved the reclamation of an area of boggy ground into a common park for the community. Three illustrations were commissioned to depict the history and wildlife of the park and each illustration featured an accompanying poem written by a local poet. Each illustration was presented at A2 size and mounted on wood sculptures throughout the park to provide both interesting and stumulating visual guides to the public. The displays were sited in the park in such a way that the views out to sea depicted on the illustrations were the same as actually seen in reality. This was done in order to help the viewer imagine how Graham's Point had changed throughout history.
