The
Discovering Poetry Project was commissioned in conjuction
with Paisley University, The Scottish Poetry Library and Learning
& Teaching Scotland and is a creative writing software program
for use in primary education. The brief required the creation of
a series of landscape illustrations describing various habitats
including "beaches and islands, bogs and moors, mountains and
glens, cities and towns, farms and fields, forests and woods and
lochs and rivers. Once these were created it was required to 'populate'
these habitats with a variety of species particular to each habitat.
This generated a library of illustrations which were used throughout
the program to aid interactivity. All of the 'habitats' and a selection
of the 'inhabitants' are shown below. More information about the
program can be found at www.discoveringpoetry.co.uk. |
