Hi, welcome to Neilsart illustration! I am a freelance illustrator with considerable experience producing illustrations for organisations such as BP, Halifax IF Bank, Scottish Brewers, The Scottish Consumer Council, the Loch Lomond National Park and an assortment of design and marketing agencies within the creative industry.

In many cases it is necessary to write my own brief in direct consultation with the client. This is a useful process where I am able to articulate the client's needs by visualizing their idea's on paper in the form of preliminary sketches. I also provide freelance graphic and web services and this experience helps me to grasp a creative brief quickly and understand the wider marketing issues.

Most of my work is project based and charges are per project based on my hourly rate. I am mac based and fully proficient in relevant software packages. In fact many of the illustrations are produced on the computer although I continue to sketch and draw by hand using propelling pencils, fibre tips and the trusty Pental sign pen.
